The dashboards presented below are an example of a sports analysis, in particular of women's football that highlights the teams and players who stood out in the 2022 European tournament.
Three dashboards were developed: the first one focuses on classifying the teams taking into account the goals and shots made in the entire competition; the second one allows evaluate the two finalist teams over the entire pitch in terms of offensive and defensive pressure and shots; the third one provides a comparative analysis of the two best players in terms of minutes, goals, shots and completed passes in the box.

The purpose of this analysis was to report some insights from the UEFA Women's Euro 2022 competition.

RESULT
Given the analysis results, it is possible to state that England and Germany were the two teams that stood out from the rest, hence they were the two teams to play in the final.
For both teams, Bethany Mead and Alexandra Popp were the most outstanding players, in particular the English player who ended up named UEFA Women's EURO 2022 Player of the Tournament.
INSIGHTS
The England women's team was the team with the most shots, goals, and goals per game, followed by the Germany women's team, exactly the two finalist teams in the competition.
In the final, Germany was the team that made more shots, which resulted in higher defensive action from the English team. On the other side, England practised a more distributed offensive pressure all over the field.
Bethany Mead of the English team and Alexandra Popp of the German team were the top scorers in the competition, both with 6 goals. However, the English player made fewer shots, shots per game and shots per 90 minutes.
Compared to the German player, the English top soccer completed a higher number of passes in the box. Furthermore, her shots are more distributed in the box and she uses almost equal the right and the left foot.
